We'll I don't. I came from a lot of bad years in the union, yellow, abf one week vacation, For almost ten years. At abf. Union gets new buildings , what do I get sixty hours working poor. I want to leave what with twenty years at fifty five, what do I get peanuts. I want to do something else, move on. Can't afford to. Take that Buddy.

What you said here is sensible until you remember that you're not taking your own advice, you're at a union job refusing to pay dues despite the negotiations that have taken place on your behalf.
Also, note that this is YET ANOTHER contract-time slob troll stirring the pot.

Any steward or BA on this forum will tell you that they spend 90% of their time on 10% of the membership. It's rare that the majority who appreciate the good job they have need representation.
Assuming you are truthful with what you are saying, if you are working 60 hours a week at ABF you are getting paid for 20 hours at time and a half or maybe double time for seventh day & holidays. You can thank the teamsters you are collecting overtime over 40.

Not to mention contract language that gives you a grievance process for seniority and work rules violations.
So, instead of whining about what you don’t have, how about either joining the Union and try to make a difference about the things you would like to change, or move along to a non-Union job Mr. Free-Loader!!!
