I've not seen many air bags hanging out in our fleet. I hit a huge deer at full speed in a t680 once, bent that big metal bumper down and back. Knocked the stuff in the cab around pretty good. Took enough electronics with it to require a hook. No airbags on that one...
 
We had a R146xx tractor roll over. The passenger steer tire was pushed back under the fuel tank. They cut the windshield to get the driver out. It sat in a tow yard all winter with no windshield. 16 months later it showed back up in service. The tractor had 2000 miles on it. It was my new city bid tractor. I drove it 1 time before the road driver wrecked it. I was the first to drive it when it came back. I turned on the defroster and it blew a bunch of glass out of it. Never say never.
