TForce | All laid off road drivers will be sent a recall letter the week of 8-1-23

There will be an agreed to process for recalling all road drivers, currently laid off, not working at all .
The company is revamping the entire road Network.
 
The company has till Jan.1, 2024 to bring back laid off road drivers... You get none of the benefits of the new article 44 language if laid off until call back, but if after ratification Aug.1 and a driver who is not laid off and their run is cut you will get the guarantee. I have been laid off from the road since last Sept. but I have been working the dock and able to fill in when possible and I can't rationalize voting yes for a contract with specific language protecting road drivers and not receiving the protection if ratified on day one, but the next guy will have the protection... Oh and contractors are still running our freight while we scrounge for time.
 
No actually you're incorrect. If you see someone being done wrong you have the responsibility to assist said individual. It's called being a human who isn't out for themselves.

A wrong is a matter of individual interpretation. What one person judges to be a wrong, another could very easily see justice or karma(so to speak). I have found that it is those who do stupid ::shit:: are the ones always having the " perceived wrongs" thrust upon their " purely innocent" selves.

Have you ever been to a socialist or comminist country? Since you're so intelligent. And no im not talking about a "perceived " wrong I'm talk about a situation where where an individual is actually being done wrong.
 
Mayhaps it's karma. Management is mad at me for being a troublemaker 'cause I win grievances. Anyhow I think this situation is a concession and the 8-1 recall is a farce(for the most part) and with that said they freely pointed out the 1-1-24 deadline in the propaganda video. Heck I may be recalled next week. Happy trucking.

No I have never been to a socialist or communist country. But I have read plenty about it and heard many stories from people who have fled those countries.
I don't need to actually jump into a volcano to know that the lava is going to burn me to death.
Anyhow, there may be some universal wrongs, but most are subjective.
 
Thats a cop out. If you see someone being robbed you have the moral obligation to stop the offender and if necessary kill him. If you're not man enough to do what needs to be done then step aside the adults will handle it for you.
 
IMO if its not in the contract nor the MOU then the company is obligated by the 4 corners of the contract. I dont care what a BA or O'Brein say the only thing that matters is those 4 corners or in out case 400.

I have no obligation to do anything that you expect me to do , nor do I have the right to expect the same to you.
Your belief system seems to be very authoritarian in nature.
Mine is a bit more laissez-faire.
