some companies just don't get it. the way to keep a union away is to treat your drivers fairly. the company i work for would have paid that driver for 9 hours of the 10 he sat, but would not compensate him for having to miss work the next night. hell we get paid if we sleep in the motel for longer than 14 1/2 hours. hope it gets better for you guys.
