It doesn't matter what you drive as long as your in the race,RiGHT???? If he drives the UPSF car does he not get paid for pit-stops or have to pay for the gas????
He has to eat all time spent under caution.

Thanks for the reply Apostolic, I am ordering mine today. Not a Jarrett fan but nice to have a company sponsored car in the collection.
I didn't know Overnite had a car in the race?

It's UPGF to you sir.!!!!! Or maybe UPSF.!!!! Take your pick.....

My new jobclass is "Freight Redundancy Specialist".

This Person will have the ability
to tolerate mentally challenged dispatchers
who excell in the art of ignorance redundancy,
and can withstand driving 18 wheelers at
top end speeds in circles.

I'm sorry, I was in rare form that day.

Yeah, its the one with the duct tape and bailing wire. Last time I saw it management was pushing it. They said all the car needed was just but a little "vision", and it would be as good as new just like our equipment. :biglaugh:

I thought the car looked good, sad thing is we had to wait 211 laps to see it, and thats only because it was being lapped by the leader...

I did order the diecast version though

it matters little if you sponsor a foreign vehical.

So much for buying American.........
woops, my mistake?

Thats Generous Motors moto.

Yeah and, what ever happened to racing?
NASCAR was a good old boy,American sport?

If everything goes out of the country, who will be left to pay all the taxes due to support the United States Government?

So many questions?
Now who has the answers?

No this isn't a riddle, just an old timer rambaling on,about our new company, and the state of our country.
Oh yeah and, the sport of stock car racing that I've watched since all the tracks were dirt.

The best races were the 1's where they DROVE the car to the track, then raced it then DROVE it to work the next day and did it all over again the next weekend.. The ol saying goes.. trailers are for boats.. or
asphalt for getting there dirt's for racing..

I was a drag racer one summer back in 1964.
I had a 1958 ford with a police engine.
Super full race Clay Smith cam, balanced, with a four barrel carb.
I used to tow bar it to my local drag strip.
I ran C-Street gas.
I won my class all summer untill the last race,of the season.

I remember a young kid showing up one night.
He had Daddys car.
A really mint 1956 chevy.
He drove it to the track, took the street tires off,and put on the slicks.
When his turn came,he was running good, untill he topped out, than know one knows what happened?
This poor kid rolled about two times.
He was ok,other than crying his eys out.
The car was a total loss.

Yeah that was back when you didn't have to take out a second mortgage to purchase a car,and gas cost cents, not dollars.

Ah to get those days back with what I know now.

Apo, If you could go back with all that knowledge, you would probably be bored.
Remember one thing, Yesterday is history, tomorrow's a mystery. Enjoy today, it's challenging enough. Thats what makes life so interesting.

Your 100% correct hugnlug.
We can only live, second,by second, and after one of those seconds passes, theres nothing anyone in the world can do to get it back.

Its ok to remember back to days gone by.
But to retreive any of that time again, is as easy as jumping over the Grand Canyon.

Well I hear that our new CEO is changing the color of the duct tape and bailing wire for the race on sunday!!! and they hired a few lumpers to push it. And they also found some high test vision.

The most advertising UPS gets out of DJ's Nextel car is when its either sitting in the pits,or one like it is on the road doing promo's at new car dealerships.
I find it very hard to believe he's going to be competitive with a foreign car next year.
I mean come on give us a break.
Maybe the bodies fall apart on our American cars, but you really can't beat our motors for their speed.

Unless he's planing on using the rice burner body with an American motor?
