I applied at one of the companies that became Vitran, but I can't remember which one. I'm thinking it was Quast.
They made me take a "Reid Test" which is a test with a bunch of questions to see how honest you are and stuff. Problem is, the questions are yes or no, and some of them depend on the situation.
For instance, one question was, "Do you think a person who is caught stealing a candy bar should go to jail?" Of course, the common sense answer would be "No", because it's going to cost the taxpayers a helluva lot more to keep the guy in jail than the candy bar was worth. But if I say no, then they might think I go around stealing candy bars.
Do they still have these worthless tests?
