I'd like to hear from employees who has dealt with our credit union. The good/bad experiences with them. What're some of the up's & downs with dealing with them?

Yeah I'm curious what the rates would be nowdays. Knowing I know they base your rate off of your credit report and u are subject to open a checking acct. May have to get the ole' lady into something more dependable b4 the dandruff stuff starts falling out of the sky...lol. I wasn't aware of the scarce number of ATM's & fees.I had a car loan through them about 12 years ago, great rates then. Bad thing is there are only a few FECCA ATMs so if you withdraw from your account there is usually a fee. My local credit union only charges another credit union 25 cents though so it's not bad.
I'm personally not a member of FECCA but with the credit union where I am a member, they take the payment right from my check when it's directly deposited and they also take payments weekly resulting in 13 monthly payments a year due to there being 52 weeks vs 12 months a year...this makes the "monthly" payment lower and you pay off your loans quicker!!I cut myself off I guess, but I put so much a week in checking some in savings and some in Christmas club, which comes in handy, but I let it build up over a month and use free checking to make a payment, say a 200 dollar tractor payment I pay 600 paid off quick, seems when it comes out of my check before I get it you get use to it and don't miss it,this may not answer the original queston but it didn't cost anything.
Not sure if FECCA takes weekly payments.
That rate for a used vehical! No one will beat that!We have a car loan there at 1.49% which is grear for a used car. The paperwork was a bit of a hassle as we encountered a few problems but we got it straightened out. You can check out the rates at fecca.com
