Very few of us are on a lift. Out of the eighty drivers at my terminal only one run is required to work the dock. Not to mention you will surely jump on a lift as soon as you park your truck.

.714 currently with a raise in August.I've been a FedEx Freight for 19 years and my top road pay is 62 cents a mile. Top rate at ups freight is 70. You must live where the cost of living is high.
I currently work for UPSF and let me tell y’all right now we might be the top paid and have the fastest trucks but we can’t hold a pole to FedEx freight. Lol most of our runs are ran by contractors. The grass isn’t always greener on the other side trust me. Y’all have it made at FedEx. UPSF are light years behind. Y’all steady add runs while we lose runs. Just my two cents.
Lol I guess Canadian.Like I said, the grass is always greener.
Both companies have their advantages and disadvantages, a common thread across the industry. The choice should be made based upon what your needs are.
Everyone looks at a situation that is not their own with a different perspective.Lol I guess Canadian.
I can’t disagree with you on that. You are right.I just hate the term UNION BROTHER. Another term for it would be DOG EAT DOG. But that’s another story but you’ll right about that.Everyone looks at a situation that is not their own with a different perspective.
A lot of people think UPSF has it made because they are under a union contract with the Teamsters. I pointed out earlier in this discussion that the UPSF contract currently has no restrictions on the use of purchase transportation, something a lot of people at FedEx are already seriously concerned about.
On one hand, FedEx is not bound by a union contract and therefore can use all the purchase transportation they want. On the other hand, UPSF does not have a contract that prevents them from using all the purchase transportation they want.
I'm not taking sides here, just pointing out the facts.
What have you been smoking. Our truck goes too fast already.
$36!What have you been smoking.
He's from Cali. He's paid by the hour. What have you been smoking.
Plenty of flux capacitors floating around on ebay. That should fix your problem.
O'Rielly Auto Parts. Put 121G in the search
Volvo engine."All fake news" this part was never used on the 2.8L Peugeot engine that powered the Delorean, its primary use was a Donaldson Valve actuator.
Volvo engine.
And it was used on a Jacobs engine brake in the early 80's.
C’mon McFly, you know he painted it silver to match his Airstream!!Peugeot Renault Volvo, whatever Doc Breeze.
Do you wipe it down with a SOS pad???
All scheduled road runs will run before a contractor will run. If a contractor runs and a scheduled road driver has no work and is sent home, the road driver will be paid for the entire night for sitting home.Everyone looks at a situation that is not their own with a different perspective.

So I've heard. But what I hear mentioned of it is that the pay received for sitting isn't what could have been made at work. I've also heard that road runs in some cases are being deliberately structured in a way that's too far for a road driver to complete, justifying giving out to PTS.All scheduled road runs will run before a contractor will run. If a contractor runs and a scheduled road driver has no work and is sent home, the road driver will be paid for the entire night for sitting home.
