FedEx Trade Networks is growing its presence internationally with another round of new office openings.
A subsidiary of Memphis-based FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX), the international ocean and air freight forwarder is opening new offices in Rotterdam, Netherlands and Hamburg and Frankfurt, Germany.
Since starting its worldwide expansion plan in 2008, FedEx Trade Networks has opened 28 freight forwarding offices throughout Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America, in addition to more than 60 locations in the U.S. and Canada.
Rotterdam and Hamburg are two of Europe’s largest seaports and Frankfurt serves as an important air cargo gateway to Central Europe, according to Fred Schardt, president and CEO of FedEx Trade Networks.
