Flatbed's load goes thru car's windshield in Phoenix

I just saw this one on my evening news, they're claiming that the pipe fell off of the truck. An idiot could see that the stuff's still strapped safe and sound on the truck. Cause unknown? You gots to be kidding, that SUV ran into it.
I thought everyone knew you have to have a red flag of some sort attached to the end of any object extending out beyond the length of your vehicle.
I have a GMC full 8 foot box pickup,that I haul 10 &12 foot horse corral fencing,I always duck tape a red flag on the end bar.
I've never had any problem with that setup.
However I did notice in the report that there was a yellow flag,which I have never knew another color then red could work?
After all red is way more noticeable then yellow,so I think this trucker may be at fault,just with his color choices.
