as i am interpreting the new proposal, seems that they are just going to allow one to go to another state for the CDL permit and testing testing, like for instance a MA person going to IN at say the Swift school, get the permit there, then the tests. then only from what i can read, get the CDL out of state, then later, return to the home state, and switch over. this might eliminate trying to find a residence for a short time..???Is the DMV going to relax the number of penalties brought on by the truckers that do not know the correct procedures of pre/post trip inspections?
