I'm convinced this guy doesn't even drive for OD. Entertaining as hell though. Are planning to chicken out already? We need real men that plan to move our freight and
not just hold a wheel.
Talk to the men, not these line ladies. Where are you applying at? Hours are good everywhere right now and you'll make 28.73 top out. This is a job where if you show them what you're made of you'll be hitting 45-50 hrs a week even during the slow time.
How do they deliver residential, with a Lift gate Pup 26' ??
In your area top wage is a bit lower billy lo is on the left cost were cost of living is outrageous. You should expect a top out of 26 and some change I believe. Linehaul is were the money is at! Little Rock probably a couple years to get a schedule run. Really just depends on what you want to do. But we can all agree OD is the best place to work!! Make sure you jump into that 401k asap especially as young as you are.

Call me what you want but you're making $27 an hr busting your ass all day loading/unloading trailers, dealing with rush hour traffic and backing into tight spots meant for straight trucks. This "steering wheel holder" is making around $41 an hour doing nothing but drops/hooks and dealing with virtually no traffic.
Here I thought you were supposed to get smarter the older you got. LOL
Especially line driver's. He forgets that his trailer is loaded each day, cuz a number of line driver's got the freight from point A to SEA the end designation. He's employed here but I wouldn't call what he does exactly... work... mostly he gripes about, well, everything.

Don't be a jerk he is just asking questions that affect his future. Are planning to chicken out already? We need real men that plan to move our freight and

Billy has three mantles on his fireplace for all the Mastios....
Isn't his mantle made out of Mastios?
40' or 48' most likely. We do have some 53' lift gates, no idea why.

I have a Mastio for my Mastio.
Nothing better than a 53' Liftgate and a Tandem axle Cascadia for a residential. Give that to a Line driver and he'd tear down the gate fence before even leaving the terminal except for Song because he was a good city driver before.

Nope I would do what our p@d does tell the city dispatcher that 53ft trailer is to long for city deliveries can't do it.Nothing better than a 53' Liftgate and a Tandem axle Cascadia for a residential.
