Friday was ugly. Did the other driver's route. 12 Stops, a little over 400 cubes, full to the back.
Stop 1 opens at 8am, it's 7 minutes from the yard, I start at 530am. Ok, do stop 2 first, it's right before stop 1 and they get there a little after 630. Go to stop 2, unbury their stuff and wait. Run it off as soon as they got there, did i mention I love go down steps, lol. Get to stop 1 around 730 and wait, lol. They show up at 750, gone by 8. 15 minutes to stop 3, in and out in under 15, 7 minutes to stop 4, in and out in 15, 40 minutes to stop 5, in and out in under 15, 5 minutes to stop 6, in and out in 10 minutes, 12 minutes to stop 8(yes, I skipped over 7), arrive at 1010, depart at 1135. Biggest stop on the route, as always, 4 and half pallets, 35 cases of meat, and they want the cooler first, so you dig it out if the frozen pallet is in the way. Off to stop 7, 10 minutes to there, in and out in 10 minutes, 10 minutes to stop 9, again less then 10 minutes, stop 10 and 11, all done less then 45 minutes after I left stop 9, and that includes drive times.
Ok, off to stop 12, in BFE! Talked to the other driver earlier for directions, he gave me what he could, seems this place is the VFD Ladies Aux. I never even heard of the town and I know eastern Ohio pretty well. 45 minutes, through back roads to get there. 21 miles from door to door. Took all of five minutes to deliver and another 10 minutes for the two firemen there to figure out how to get point in the right direction towards home since I was driving a tractor-trailer, lol.( going out the same way I came in was not an option, would have put me farther from the yard). So, 1.5 hours later and after many back roads, I get back to the yard. Started at 530am, logged out of the computer at 445pm. Not to bad for all that I had and it's been several months since I ran that area. Even remembered where all the stops where, except that last one, they only started buying a month ago.
