Central Transport | How much did you manage to lose this time ?

In the 2nd quarter, Vitranoff lost more than they could afford!
 
if YRC which failed at managing a freight company is still hanging on, im sure vitran will. But then again unions are notably liberal and thats a big voting block for the dems...Every economic text would say YRC should have failed, but people in high places kept them alive. Kinda like the auto industry.
 
With yrc they sold their commercial property to Estes and then took out leases on the same properties to get money to operate with.Pjax owned about half their terminals do not know realestate situation withdrawn the rest of this motley crue.Also there's first 2quarterly reports are unaudited numbers if we make it through the year you may see more loss than has been reported.The numbers have to balance out at the end of the fisical year.They did not correct numbers last year until last quarter.One last thing I have been in the freight industry for24 years 19of of that withfor pjax .Not the perfectyear company but was paid close to industry standard.That being said if you were a valued employ with agood reputation they more or less left you alone
