It is being reported that gasoline go under $3.00 in most states by years end.

Wonder if the price of diesel will also drop?
It is really odd that diesel should be so much higher than gas,as it is the less refined fuel.
However I would welcome a drop in gas prices.

with more and more regs on diesel fuel, it's not as much of a 'less refined fuel than gasoline' as decades ago. Also keep in mind, that if refiners can increase the margin on diesl fuel, they can get by with a lesser margin on gasoline. there are millions and millions more cars in this country than trucks, alot less complaining from car owners.

well each time i go shopping at a mega supermarket, i get points towards gasoline....

sometimes, i can get up to 90 points, which means 90¢ off a gallon....of any octane, at ALL Shell gas stations and the market's gas station.

i also get points at a local warehouse store, and a locally well known milk store...so i'm good for even cheaper..brand named,,gasoline's....
