That will work. We would have to make sure he didn't destroy the rail like he has destroyed the trucking!

Hoffa and the international should request an investigation on all stock transactions and all monies received by zollars and his cronies........This should be mandatory because 45-50 thousand families will be devastated........enough is enough.........nuff said........:TR10driving03:
It's a shame to see what's happening to Yellow. I remember when they were one of the most stable trucking companies out there owning virtually 100% of their assets straight out. Then the buying spree took over. It was the beginning of the end. I think you guys are gonna get screwed and that's not good! Thanks to the derivative sales whether you guys close or stay open the bond holders get their money. Good luck to all of you and thanks. If it wasn't for you union guys I wouldn't be making what I am today and that's a fact.
Better check up on your history. Roadway was always the company that was solvent and owned most of it's holdings outright. From my early days in unionized LTL (1988), Yellow was always a debt riddles company. They even tinkered on the verge of, or were already in and emerged from bankruptcy once before in the 70s.
1951=yellow frt declares bankrucptcy.
Then I guess whoever sold Roadway to Yellow did not care about Roadway workers. Am I correct?
I got my information from a retired Yellow driver during a union meeting, just as we were beginning the wage reduction discussions. He told us that Yellow had barely avoided bankruptcy in the 70s.
I did some checking, and in 1951, it was actually Yellow Transit that declared bankruptcy. So maybe they have practice and success going into, out of, and avoiding bankruptcy......Only the future will tell.

Thats not true. I care about those x-Roadway workers, very much.
