Holland | Local vs. line haul

I've got my app in at Holland in Kansas City. I applied for both local and line haul positions, as I'm open to either.

One day after I applied for the line-haul, I got a message back saying they had decided to pursue another candidate. I got a more positive message on the local job, and appear to still be in the running.

I take it that the line-hauls are considered "better" jobs at Holland than local jobs, or is it something else?
