We have alot of very bright individuals on tb. So let's post things that would actually help this losing company if only they listen.

City drivers have you by the want ads. You want get full production until you return their pay and pention. Road drivers are paying the price.

Fix the l/h bids. Some less than 200 miles. Bids can cover 500 miles easy and my barn only has 3 that do. How many drivers you need?

In Spartanburg we have no management ideas due to TM and 3 supervisors have either quit or put notice in all in same week.

Only people making money here are the suit and tie people! Nothing will ever change with their mentality..... what we've given back has all gone into their piggy banks!!!!

An easy, cheap contribution to a driver's overall morale and productivity would be straps, load bars and pallet jacks. I wonder how many drivers a day go through the same disgusted thought process when you cant even get the basic stuff you need to get your load out on the street. A disgusted start of the day rolls on through as you gotta restack a skid because of no strap or try to figure out how to get the :shit: off the truck because of no pallet jack.

Obviously we want our pay and pension back. Throw us a bone the economy is booming. Show the driver that the company plans to perform and I can guarantee you will get a driver that will do the same.

[IMG]Plain & Simple IF there's NO pallet jack the Freight comes back to the barn period , Don't hurt yourself trying to unload it & then get a warning letter for getting hurt ! I don't play there games of No Equipment to do your job , I just tell them can't Del. freight without the tools to do our job !

Years ago, I did that at a non-union job, and suddenly pallet jacks started showing up, then we all had one. I expected to get fired over it, but didn't. Didn't care either. Give me proper equipment or kiss it.

My guess from hearing managers talking here at yrc, is the Amazon freight is inbound to their DC's. You know. Palletized freight??? I don't think you or us will be making home deliveries...

No , it;s Loose on the floor boxes that you have fingerprint each one and read the label , VERY time consuming , it's ::shit:: freight , and point is WHY are we wasting O.T. labor hours on this crap , when we can't move good pallet freight ?? When you can't hire driver's and are just hiring luke warm bodies to stand around & take smoke breaks , what good is it going after hand freight ??

All I know is that we are picking up the Amazon crap & spending extra O.T. to sort it and the send it to Joliet & other terminals , which heard a rumor they are like 60 loads behind ?? and on the BOL it clearly says AMAZON ??? so never say never , the bag could be coming off ?

Its all inbound to Amazon. All skids. Its nothing to "sort". You cant believe 85% of what wong says. He makes it up as he goes along.

If going to Joliet, there is a possibility it is going right up the road to the Amazon DC in Bolingbrook. Bag still on, for now...
