One of the issues that keeps coming up is scanning off multiple piece shipments at the customer's dock. The way the system is designed now , if you have an eight piece order , you are required to scan off eight pieces. If you don't scan each piece off separately , you have to give a reason why you bypassed scanning off each piece.Yep almost 20 years with the company and it just gets worse each year.
On the delivery receipts the parent pro is listed in the usual places , but it doesn't correspond to the child pros on the freight. You have to search around on the delivery receipt for the matching child pros. Also , if you haven't scanned the child pros at the customer yet , it's not obvious what and when you need to scan. Some customers may not have time or patients for this prolonged , multistage process.
