Will they keep us updated on the cost so far on fighting organizing? Seems like the voice of the customer is asking for respect and removing the fear of a bad manager or supervisor running them out the door also better benefits.. It's said they're not cost effective but they will spare no expense from keeping them from you.. That would spare so much time and effort to act on the voice but their stance is clearly to fight the voice.. I heard they had pizza at ula today, I hope those drives washed it down with their pride
This CORPORATION....Really??? They have attorneys that do nothing but this type of business....The best you can buy..... Dream on.
I'm not interested in getting into another pissing contest with you BR......We are too evenly matched on opposite ends of the spectrum....Can be no winner....Only a stand off......How much money do you think it takes to retain top leadership at Conway? Leadership that improves the stock? The bottom line....You can question all you want the decisions they make...But any wrong decision can result in poor stock performance... Which could send this company into bankruptcy......Look at the boneyard in TB and see all the poor decisions made by top brass....Look at the decisions Zollars made at YRC....Look at what that cost the workers.... This company made its money and built an empire union free....And my money is on that they will stay union free.......Despite all the second guessing of the BOD.Thank you instigator for that momentary pause of bipolar relief.
Money is a motivator everywhere.
This corporation that you worship is responsible only to the shareholders. And the shareholders care about nothing except for the value of the stock. Yes, most of us are shareholders, but we don't own enough to get anybody's attention.
The union that we are asking to help us is not publicly traded nor is it a for-profit venture. The union is its membership and is responsible only to itself. So it is responsible only to its membership.
Based on these three undeniable statements, which entity do you suppose is more likely to have your better interests in mind?
Half full or half empty?
I'm grateful to have any, much less half!
No doubt those two loses will be contested just as the win will be. The union has been at this for a while while the corporation has not. Rumor sez there was some corporate shenanigans so perhaps things may not be so sure....maybe. Let's see the count.
What are their sizes? Reship? RM home base?
ULA - class 1 FAC ULX - class 2 UFV - class 3 Regional manager is out of UOR
Does someone need a nap?I like that. They freely vote and say "NO" to you guys, and that means they lose? They just didn't fall for the BS.
I know that's not gonna stop this teamster train, unfortunately.
You guys have nothing to do but try to recruit new converts to bring in some dough.
That's your mission, your passion, your need.
Your like a radical "religion" that just keeps coming up with new ways to force people into your way of thinking.

i give you 3 likes on that one.... The train derailed when he said he wasn't for or against the union, we now know that's not true....First of all; We are NOT evenly matched. You have deception and dishonesty giving you the edge. My downfall is that my agenda and the content of my communications are consistent with each other. You are far better suited to represent our corporation. Do you need me to extrapolate?
Second; Prior to Laredo Texas, no Conway facility had ever petitioned the NLRB for union representation. Now several have successfully gained the right to vote. The corporation is in uncharted waters. It is in that context that I was referring to lack of experience on Conway's part. They are relying, for the most part, on outside help - Just as we seek to.
Go to Vegas and place your bet. I will stay positive and work to get this done, no thanks to you.
he's right. You call down the terminals that chose to vote no instead of honouring their decisions.Does someone need a nap?
Im not following what your saying.....he's right. You call down the terminals that chose to vote no instead of honouring their decisions.
one of three terminals voted for. Great. Now people are piling on the two that chose not to go union. You have to respect both votes.... For and against.Im not following what your saying.....
Aww..ok..I was just curious thank u for clarification on that
Got it........one of three terminals voted for. Great. Now people are piling on the two that chose not to go union. You have to respect both votes.... For and against.
Yet another misinformed soul, they won't be put into central states they would more on the lines of what ups has....nice 2nd post better luck on your 3rd....This is what your precious union can promise you! This is why the Union is so desperate to siphon Conway employees into this sinking ship!
The Central States plan, for example, pays $2.8 billion a year to retirees but takes in only about $700 million from employers. It must rely on investment returns to keep from exhausting its assets, but Thomas C. Nyhan, director of the pension plan, said it would take returns of at least 12 percent a year, every year, to come out even, and that is not realistic. Its modeling suggests it will run out of money in 10 to 15 years — most likely around 2026, if nothing is done.

I don't know so I'll ask : Are any of these locations that have voted or will vote located in the Central States Pension Fund region ?This is what your precious union can promise you! This is why the Union is so desperate to siphon Conway employees into this sinking ship!
