Doesn't seem to me that a $200k gross will provide an all that impressive NET. What kind of operating ratio can a typical O/O achieve?

The tough part, if you can find a job that pays, isn't so much making the money as it is keeping it in your wallet. The modern truck will break down often and be expensive to repair when it does. To say nothing of how expensive they are to buy in the first place.

I wonder if their survey also counted the number of these smaller carriers that are owned and operated by immigrants? And employing mainly immigrants...

Ms Ramirez, the 2nd accuser, has now recanted her story after seeing the video and is now claiming it was Wong who shook his ***** in her face. Big Dave and Judge Kavanaugh could not be reached for comment but Wong stated “I was just offering her a 15% discount for my services!!”

"Tesla Inc. CEO Elon Musk was accused by the Securities and Exchange Commission of misleading investors when he tweeted that he had funding lined up to take the company private.

The agency said Musk fabricated the claim in his August tweet, which sent Tesla shares higher.

“In truth and in fact, Musk had not even discussed, much less confirmed, key deal terms, including price, with any potential funding source,” SEC said in complaint filed Sept. 27 in Manhattan federal court, less than two months after Musk’s tweet."

Outdated FMCSA Medical Examiners Handbook Taking Years to Rewrite

"There are all sorts of issues — diabetes, cardiac issues, neurological issues, sleep apnea — and FMCSA has not put the guidance out there for them."

"While a few older versions of the handbook can be found online and on the Medical Review Board’s website, FMCSA has issued the following warning: “As of 2015 this handbook is no longer in use.”

FMCSA issues rulemaking allowing states to waive knowledge test for transitioning military vets

"The rule also includes the option to waive the tests required for a passenger carrier endorsement, tank vehicle endorsement or hazardous materials endorsement with proof of training and experience.

Individuals who are, or were, regularly employed within the last year in a military position that requires, or required, driving a commercial vehicle are eligible for the waivers."

Article says Illinois has issued about 75 waivers so far? I suspect they also have examiners issuing,”waivers”, to many legal,and illegal immigrants of polish, Russian, Ukraine, and Indian decent that can only pass the cell phone, and GPS knowledge tests...

We are watching the death of Tesla in real time right now. Elon Musk is literally the glue that holds Tesla together and the fuel that keeps it running. Without his leadership, it'll fall apart. Tesla isn't big enough to be run by a board of directors successfully.

But doing things like this? Doesn’t that make you wonder if someone else should,be running it? Basically misleading,or lying ?
