If they are 3 axle send them west, will take anything. We are hurting on line haul for 3 axle big time.Last year we got couple kenworths, but frame is too long for triples, so many passover trailers that are going west, south , north we can't scale on single axleI'm hearing it's on the steering column. Heard something about a very serious accident with one of the Nashville drivers. Dunno for sure what the deal is. I just put this thread out there thinking someone might know something. Definitely a recall though. They're not letting any Volvo's out the gate at my barn regardless which terminal they're from
Not sure but I've heard about the accident then the recall was within hours. I googled it and "nothing"We've got a bunch of Volvos at my barn. It's going to suck for a while. Wonder how long this recall is going to take.
Good deal, at least it don't sound like anything time consuming. Hopefully they'll get them back on the road.Just googled it and found some info. A steering shaft bolt may have been insufficiently tightened when assembled causing the shaft to separate and driver to lose all control of steering. Trucks were manufactured between May and November 2015.
Never did care for the "greased for life" front end components on a vehicle. My first experience with them was a 1988 Silverado pickup and the ball joints started grinding at 60,000 miles. I didn't realize that they used them on the tractors. Seems like Volvo would've seen the light on the recall they had on the earlier model years.
Until they get the IH's traded in... LOL.. These guys down here are still driving 15 year old trucks.. And y'all are raisin' cane about holding the Volvo's.. LMAOWe've got a bunch of Volvos at my barn. It's going to suck for a while. Wonder how long this recall is going to take.
Did they ever flip the DEF tanks over to the drivers side.. That was the stupidest thing I ever seen in my years of driving... Only at EstesI don't understand why they keep buying the long wheel base Kenworths. They are no good in the city , with a lot of the yards as tight as they are, I just wonder what they are thinking.

Yeah, to a seniority guy..LOLYeah. They were on the passenger side just that first year.
All of our Volvos are back on the road... Except mine. I think mine got lost somewhere.
