Yellow | Pay cut?

Like you stated, Von. You were never under the gun to possibly vote yes, no, or maybe close... It puts a lot of pressure on people to vote one way, or the other, and hoping they made the right choice. The ones that have moved on,I say, good for them. The ones remaining probably are like myself in the 25 year plus in years of service, and are looking at starting over, probably with lower pay initially, out of pocket insurance costs, and may not work enough years at a new job for that companies pension to amount to much of anything. So they stay here, and hope for the best.
Ya, you can't argue with that. It was not an easy position to be in. If YRC comes after you guys wanting more, I hope you vote no & strike 1 minute after midnight when your contract expires. And tell the hall no working under the old contract while trying for a new one. No more givebacks or pick up the wood & start walking. I now believe YRC will stay afloat, but if you don't play hard ball come talk time, they will roll over you like a rolling machine on asphalt. Good luck. von.

It was the investment banks (the ones that were going to refinance the notes that were coming due) that set the conditions for YRCW. The financials were available for everyone to see and the IBT had financial people do that before they recommended approval of the MOU. For those that wanted to see YRCW close the doors I have a question - Why are you still here?
I thought I was replying to this post.
