We don't have enough time with a 401. And I've had one since it was offered.

No ira's15% Aggressively invested for the past 20 years should provide a decent chunk of change.
No ira's
It's a decent chunk. But not decent enough. 2008 took a chunk.
Wish I had. I believed I had the wonderful CSPF, until the truth started bubbling up 10-15 yrs ago...Why not an IRA? Tax deferred benefits for retirement similar to a 401-K. I took advantage of IRA's as soon as they were implemented.

Since you're 347 yrs old, you must rival Bill Gates by now!!!For the first 10 years of my adult working life I had nothing to show for retirement. Back then you needed to have 10 years of employment to be vested in any pension plan and I changed jobs often and never acquired any pension credits. In the 1970's when IRA's were first implemented I began to contribute and continued to do so over the years since. That helped make up for the lack of any pension credits for those early 10 years.

I didn't know they had IRA's back in the late 50s??
The Market is up 26% since Trump was sworn in. I made everything back that dropped in 2008 plus doubled what I had.No ira's

Yes, they had them. We had to read the legal disclosures by candle light and sign with a quill pen but they were around.
