POLL: Should collision avoidance systems become mandatory? How about video recorders? Why/why not

If you ask me which I guess you have with this new thread topic.
There are way to many electronic devices on vehicles we don't need anymore.
When I learned to drive back in the day,the only electrical items were the radio,instruments,heater,clock which was optional.
The headlights & tail lights as far as I knew then, that was all we needed.
 
NO......to the collision system

YES....... to the video recorders, as long as they record the road, not the driver
 
I personally don't want them because I consider myself a good driver with over 35 years of experience . .... still learning . ....especially with the way the newer drivers think .

I'm ok with them going in.... but I want compensated for my good driving habits .

If it wasn't for the way and attitude of the new breed of drivers . .. cameras and crash avoidance would not be needed .
