at hrs it isn't too bad, they are pretty quick to fix things .
if they load your trailer and its found to be not safe when you pretrip it they put it on another trailer. if there is something unsafe about a delivery you don't do it,bring it back and the customer and company make arrangements to meet elsewhere, or they come and get it at the barn ,this happens every now and then on residential deliveries. but if we take a trailer out then find something not safe to the point where you need to come back to the barn , you get a letter .
they are constantly replacing dock plates,and seat belts on the tow motors,painting yellow walk way lines before they fade,etc etc
all the safety training they give us anymore its to the point that if anything happens to you at work its your fault, its ups covering their ***.
we had a 5 min video this morning about stretching in the am before you leave. so if we pull a muscle its a preventable injury .. it seems every week there is a video that covers something we can prevent, and we have to sign,print and id number a roster that they can throw in our face if something happens.
