A Swift reference is shameful to say the least. But that's what I'm talking about. Years ago you would have been laughed off the stage for mentioning Swift in the same sentence as Holland.
I view Holland as just a stepping stone job nowadays, versus an excellent career choice like it used to be.
(And I blame the cowardly union and it's cowardly members for taking the concessions.)
To each their own, but most honest people admit that they should have took a stand against the concessions.

You're not wrong. But a lot of people are under the mistaken impression that working at Holland isn't worthwhile at all, and that's just not true. It may be a stepping stone job, but it's probably the best stepping stone job out there and, unlike most stepping stone jobs in this industry, you can go home more than twice a month. On top of that, the pay and benefits are actually enough to live on, unlike most other stepping stone jobs that have low pay and no benefits.

For a young driver on their way up, they'd be hard pressed to find a better place to start than Holland. Doing 3-5 years here won't bankrupt you and you can actually have a family because you will be home to see them more often.

Everyone who has stayed there has their own personally reasons for staying, and that respectable. But for those of us who moved on, we knew that we had better options. Neither position is criminal.

Have your union give me my pension that I was promised and I'll promise to stop "snooping" in on your company.

The guy driving this van must be part bat or something. He hit what was basically the only thing in a wide open space.

Aren't you supposed to have a CDL to drive one of those 15 passenger vans? In Canada they're considered small busses and require the same license.

At the most a chauffeurs license. When you move up into the minibuses then you need the CDL, but the shuttle vans don't.

Even if the driver had a CDL that does not necessarily mean that he/she is a good driver since on a daily basis we see those who have one do some : WTF how did he/she do that actions.

Question: was any road drivers in the van at the time of the poll jumping out infront of the van moment?

If so I can see $$ in the near future...

Just think of this occurring to one of the Holland drivers and having to fill out the accident report..

How did the accident occur: ? : I was following navigation and it said to hang a left

Please draw a detailed diagram of the accident: what direction you were going when it happened; time to practice up on your stick figure artistic drawing skills

How could you of avoided the accident: ( my favorite response ) Stayed at home in bed

Stewards response to the letter the driver will receive: rescind and remove from file due to unavoidable movement of yellow warning poll and weather conditions.

Holland TM: Refuse to rescind and remove

Action in the end: Holland short and desperate for drivers, just keep adding useless paper to the pile and if new driver look the other way and restart the 30 day probation over again as occurred in some cases at certain terminals when Newbie had accident in probation period.. desperate times

Bottom line is Holland is a bottom feeder hiring company now , the very very few dorks they hired are worthless and now at full pay after 30 days ....r.i.p. 2019 Holland
