Arkansas Best Corp. shareholders approved four ballot measures during their annual meeting Thursday at the company's Fort Smith headquarters.It was the first annual meeting since Judy McReynolds became president and CEO of Arkansas Best on Jan. 1.Shareholders re-elected John Alden, Frank Edelstein and Robert A. Young III to the company's board of directors. Their terms of office will be for one year.At the 2009 annual meeting, shareholders voted to declassify the board, moving to one-year terms in phases.................

◗ Appointing the Ernst & Young as the independent, registered accounting and auditing firm.
◗ Amending the executive officer annual incentive compensation plan to comply with Internal Revenue Code.
