I am considered a Scrooge by several in my family. I enjoy the holidays but I don't see any reason to go in debt just to give expensive gifts for one day of the year. My children have asked what do I want for Christmas. My reply is that I have everything I need so all I want is for everybody to get together & enjoy a few hours as a family.
