It is very sad to see such young kids killed in any way.
However as I weigh in on this report,as a former part time school bus attendant.
In rural communities it is hard to set up bus routes where the younger students get picked up at the door side of the bus.
They don't have to cross in front to get on.
The other issue is all students are taught on day one of school if they have to cross.
They are to wait for the bus to be at a complete stop with the red lights on,or flashing.
The yellows are for motorists to use caution of a bus that is going to come to a stop.
The laws for passing school buses only apply when the red lights are displayed,not the yellows.
Anyway we view this accident,it is very sad,however there were errors that caused this.
As bad as the trucker must feel,he would only have been at fault if he was following to close,or exceeding the posted speed limit.
