Well it comes down to how companies treats Driver's and younger new driver's don't want to work 60 plus hours a week and low pay scale and respect , as truck driver's have always been looked down on and not a a respected good job to go into anymore .and ask yourself when was the last time YRC said THANKS to its Driver's and here's a $100. gift card and extra day off to spent with the family ???

The extra day off part is easy at New Penn. If you book off they reward you by giving you another day off because you have an attendance problem. I always request a Friday or Monday.

I say this with sympathy for some linehaul drivers.
Some of these guys are way past retirement. And it obviously seen by me.

a lot of drivers stay for many different reasons longer than they should. I hope I don't end up to be one of them!
