In a lockout there is no activity at businesses, other than occasional management visits.
So in my opinion there would be no point for a picket line.

I am truly praying the Lord will make a way for Freight to get back to work,ASAP!

I was with Overnite for 17 years beginning in 1986,& with UPS Freight for 5.5 years.
I've been retired for 10 years already,,,Wow where did the time go?

I was always treated well with Overnite. I never really felt mistreated. Maybe I was just lucky. I remember when UPS 1st bought us and changed our insurance to aetna. There was problems with the insurance in some locations and I remember a statement saying (we will do right by our employees). I probably would be taking pictures and calling the union hall if that happens today. I can't say the same about UPS freight like Overnite. But it's still not a bad company to work at.

I worked for 15 LTL's over my 45 P&D years.
Overnite was the easiest,UPS Freight was the hardest to work for.
When we were Overnite Mr.C., the owner took all of us at my terminal out to breakfast.
Yes we had a small terminal,only 12 city drivers & 3 linehaul.
However when we became UPS Freight it seemed the company became the enemy.
I had 23 years Teamsters,22 non-union Overnite, got to say the Overnite years were the best.
