Money and position matters, If someone has always had career ambitions for a CEO gig and have devoted an entire career obtaining that goal, being offered that position at a competitor of like size might prove to be irresistible. It's not always about greed, and loyalty to a corporation(and vice-versa) is a an outmoded concept.

Take Billy for an example, being CEO at Billy's Lawncare, OD doesn't have enough money to get Billy on board full-time.

It's a corporation, if you aren't a blood relative you aren't part of the family and should expect no "family treatment", no matter how big or small the company. Getting annoying hearing drivers cry about "family atmosphere". This is business, get over it.

sadly, ANY 'workforce' that believes the 'family atmosphere' are just as dumb accepting the 81 Million votes for Biden in 2020 when there aren't that many registered voters to come up to that. But hey, drink on, buddy boy! ANYTHING to make the grass look 'greener'!
