Rumor has it, Hat is a little upset with his 2 top team drivers, not putting enough miles on the Gold Hotel, spending
too much time hanging around the coop. Just a rumor!

I see it almost every day. No show. No call. Hour late. So on.
I remember back in ancient times they sent a driver home for punching (yes punching) in one minute late. I've seen guys get letters for not recouping freight.
Anything else? I bet there is.
It's a whole different workplace.
They are afraid to write anyone up.
I don't think they know how!
And if they do they probably don't do it because of the paperwork and hassle.
And on top of that they have to keep track of it. Why bother?

Zero tolerance on late, absent, no call no show at 511 letter writing and suspensions daily! They even have s full- time employee to enforce this policy! The latest twist is they won't take your excuse from a doctor!

I heard about the not taking Dr excuses.
They are just not consistent here.
"come on in when you can policy"
I don't care anymore. I show up because I don't like short checks. I have bills to pay. Apparently some can live off less. And they do. Their problem. All I can do is cover my own azz. I have enough trouble doing that.
