Did I read GPS? Do you mean our drivers can't take an hour and a half lunch tucked in the alley behind the shopping plaza anymore? Darn.

Well at least they are investing some of our concession money back into the company to enhance efficiency. I must look at this as a positive.
( Positive Signs are always better than Negative Signs ).....In search of The Positives ~

I can see this increasing efficiency, it will free up the Boss for sales calls instead of wasting gas following drivers. Seems the Boss will lose more freedom than me.

is this what ups uses? This has discipline letters written all over it.This is not about speeding up service this is a way to tracking you and fireing you.

Good....no more working through lunch to get all of your stops and pick ups done, as it will record your whole day.

Oh....don't forget....you cannot operate it while at the wheel of a Truck.....no texting....no cellphones....NO CN70!......Make it work for you.....KK

No what it means is they'll use it to screw with the regular city drivers while they let the guys who go out as extras do whatever the hell they want...........

Yes they can GPS you but they can't use that against you at a hearing YET! But who knows what they will produce at the company meeting prior to the hearings. GOOD LUCK!( BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING)

New flash everyone, They have GPS in the current hand helds!

They have been able to "Ping" us since the Qualcom days. I'm assuming this new device will record a track for the day. Just guessing.

UPS uses a similar device except it's their own proprietary device. It's called the DIAD or delivery information acquisition device.
