I'm getting lost in all these threads. Anyone out there have any up to the day/minute info on the status of our 401k accounts? And just how can fidelity hold my cash when i want to pull it out? Just curious.

You can check on the fidelity website. when you go into your account just check on the side bar for withdraws and rollovers available.
Once it show's how much is available for withdraw, you may roll it over. I have had luck with assistance in the evening with the reps.. they are understanding and only can give you info thats available to them. so be patient with them, their only doing what they can do.

thnx for the help guys. I was also wondering if anyone could tell me what the "casino cash" on the right side of the screen is for. Thnx

Have you been able to rollover or withdrawal your money yet. The only person I know of was 100% vested and of retirement age. I have called fidelity 3x and have been told they can't do anything until Jevic says we are no longer employees. Thanks in advance.

You add money to the casino cash every time you post on a thread. I think it adds 2 dollars each time. Its fake money to play in the casino for fun. You're not actually going to be able to gamble for real money.

Hey Jim Armando,

What about releasing the 401k's that are already 100% invested, considering most of us are invested 100% already. I guess that would be the right thing to do to those drivers/employees that have been with the company for over 7 years!
Thanks.....many are having issues applying for unemployment since the company is dragging their feet on verifying employment! Some are going to need the money to cover medical insurance coverage and bills.

Yeah we know that most have a 20% lose but there are certain circumstances where there is no penalty and I happen to fall in one of those circumstances.

The SPD or Summary Plan Document will help you figure out what your options are with your 401(k). If you have any questions, I can walk you through it. My number is 215-587-4697. I have been working with Jevic employees for the past 3 weeks to help see what you'll actually get and when you can get it. For many people it is still "frozen."

Also, there may be some surprises for a few people depending on how long you worked at Jevic for.

Just so everyone knows the plan was officially terminated today June 13, 2008. See the website for specific information! For those who were wondering if there was ways to avoid the penalty.....mine being related to disability, being over 59 1/2.

I am not surprised, Jevic has seen to it that all of would get screwed in the end. I was not vested so I am going to get less...especailly less due to the markets and the price of fuel. Wake up America, we are getting screwed
