I had the ugly version of the 59 chevy,with 4 doors & square roof.
I was driving to fast one winter,came around a bend & started skidding.
Next thing the wind got under the fins & set my back end up on a guard rail.

Unfortunately mine had a 6 cylinder and it was a four door.I did know a guy that had a two door with a 289, and it moved along nicely,No match for a big block Chevy though!

Minnesota Street Rod Assoc annual "Back to 50's" car show, Chevy trucks, that red and black one was a dually, so Nice!

Unfortunately mine had a 6 cylinder and it was a four door.I did know a guy that had a two door with a 289, and it moved along nicely,No match for a big block Chevy though!

That's why they built the "Cyclone's" with the 390/4 speed

This would/wood be allot of fun to have one of these..wooden it?

The owner turned down just under $10,000.00 on eBay.
I don't blame him. It's got to be one of a kind and,
therefore, worth a lot more than $10,000.

This custom wooden car rides on a 1986 Toyota truck frame and gets power
from a Chrysler 318 engine. It is driven by an automatic transmission and has
merely 1,800 miles on its speedometer. The whole body is made of cedar and
its interior is just as over-the-top as the exterior



Everyone needs a hobby, I guess.
Finally a use for red cedar.
Probably never have to worry about
Moths eating the upholstery.
NO SMOKING ---- PLEASE!
