Sales lead program get high marks. Apparently city drivers have stepped up acquiring leads, resulting in significant and measurable amounts of added business, contributing real and ongoing added revenue.
City drivers are asked to continue (and increase) this effort, crucial to betting back on plan. In today's market the best growth opportunity is said to be in moving business from other carriers' trucks onto our trucks. The sales lead feature is easily accessed under the "stop menu" on the intermec.
Related to that (IMHO), claims reduction efforts were discussed. We are encouraged to continue to improve through the ongoing "own it" initiative, handling each movement of customer shipments as if it were our own.
In closing, Thanksgiving was the theme. Several FXFE employees shared some of what they are thankful for.
