Not sure the reasons... but we're in the north and used to snow.. but I get it. Using the safety/ driving with all the extra looky lous..Are these the same people who predict Armageddon when some snowfall is in the forecast?

Same here.. plowed snow for years prior to my freight days...there is no doubt that " fear" gets the listeners attention... or if it bleeds it leads.. I rarely watch TV anymore... but I have my wife being fed the fear by Fakebook... so she keeps me informed...lolI've been in the Northeast all my life.
