Giving back 15% of what? They gave nothing back. They weren't here for the vote nor was their pay ever reduced because they werent here. They have the deduction but what are they deducting it from? They are told what the starting wage is and thats what they are paid.
How can you claim that new hires are not giving back? Is it not true that a new hires' paycheck stub shows the 15% removal of wages? Are you saying that because they weren't hired 5 years ago they cannot see a calculated reduction of wages? Are you stipulating that todays new hire will not be effected by the 15% give-back 4 years after their anniversary? Are you advocating that because the new hire agreed to accept employment including a 15% pay reduction that is in addition to the NMFA new hire pay rates, there is no actual 15% reduction of wage?
