Old Estee's must be shaking in his boots that this bill is going to pass.They sent all their employee's cd's telling them all kinds of lies about how bad the union is! LMAO!
If you know anyone that works for Estee's you should get them to burn you a copy .You wont beleive the lies and BS they try to get those poor guys to beleive!

Why are they lies? I haven't heard anything truthful from the union in so long when they do speak all I hear is blah blah blah........
 
It wont matter because Obama wont sign the bill. The law will be vetoed because he is not really for the union. Walmart and the other big boys paid him off. They gave him more money than the unions to make sure this bill doesnt pass

And look what they got, a watered down union contract. What does the union offer anyone? If I knew 25 years ago what I know now, I sure wouldn't have joined this mess.

Hey, I wouldn't be laughing yet, FED X just won a court case against their contractor drivers, the pendulom is a long way from swinging in our direction if ever. In the future, we are going to have get used to $15.00@hr jobs, top pay, and if you think that the UE is bad now, wait till they try to make us
service the equipment :biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh::popcorn:
 
Yeah spector from pa announced yesterday he is switching to democrat. As soon as they stop bs around with frankin that will be the 60 we need.

Da isn't this the job of the company to keep union's out. Many parts may be lies but do you think the brass of the union is realy looking out for you. Check out there bennies compared to your's and see if their equal. Now weather the card check is better or not is not the question. It is should the union be forced on or not. The best way is still a vote by the people involved. Seems to me that if card check is the only way the union can get more members then maybee a new set of brass is in order.:Flame-On:

Why wouldn't I have a retirement. Are you sure I have one now? What if Holland and or YRC close? Then what. Where is the money for my retirement goiing to come from then? Central States is underfunded now, and if Holland and or YRC close who is left. At least with a 401k I would have had contol of MY money. The teamster retirement fund is a pyramid scheme just like social security and the uaw fund. Sooner or later they are going to run out of money So I again ask what does the union offer a new member? We have guys with 7 to 9 years seniority that were told if they worked all these overtime hours then the company wouldn't pull the relay out of Columbus. These guys did everything the Company ask them to do, and what did it get them? Laid off. The company pulled over 75 percent of the relay out of Columbus. What do these guys have now? Nothing and no hope of ever getting called back. Oh, yeah, in the meantime we need 10% of your high wages to run the company on. Then our insurance? What a joke thats become. Then the great retirement you spoke of? Boy I can't wait to see how much the government lets me have out of that when they take it over because it's underfunded. So I ask the question again, what does the union offer these potential new members?

Yeah and all they got was a garbage white paper contract. Hoffa should have got them the NMFA, but our fear less General President never learned how to negotiate a freight contract. Jimmy Junior should have contacted Jimmy Sr. via a physic to get educated. :Flame-On::ranting2:
 
yea, and thats what you get for listening to what the company tells you.:clap: they will say anything to get these uneducated teamsters to work like fools. (city guys getting speeding tickets,lifting 300 pounds,working through their breaks and lunch etc.) at least i am guaranteed some kind of pension if central states quits. how about your 401k? i bet your making all kinds of money because your company told you its a better deal huh:biglaugh: just another example of why i need a union here to protect me from having to listen to company and fellow employee retoric.:nutkick:

well rtm457 if yrc or holland does close then government will probably be taking over your pension for nickels on the dollar. Are you sure your in complete control of your 401k now. I know i'm not, just look at stock market. as far as the teamster pension it worked well when there were numbers, unfortunately numbers are down and our representative sides should of done something different to ensure a little nest egg when numbers went down(like in this contract). But hold up lighter in crowded subway and yell fire and see what happens. as far as a new member the union offers them a contract for them and company to go by. whether its a good or bad contract is different subject but its a contract. for an employee organizing its representation, which that person didn't have before. Its not about retirement , insurance, its about a some type of a contract with representation. As far as the city guys on the relay, was it in writing they wouldn't pull relay out. more than likely not. if its not in writing then take with grain of salt.
