Hearing speculation that some freight is being dropped due to the higher cost of the new contract. Marginal freight became unprofitable with the new cost structure.

They laid off our first guy here. We have one retiring soon so I hope he gets called back soon.

When I was leaving Tampa Wednesday morning back to 086, I heard several city guys (4 or 5 talking while I was singing out) saying 064 was laying both city and road drivers off. I don't know if they knew what they were talking about or not but they were talking about it.

All our guys are off lay off in Denver still real busy lots of PT and OT. Big wigs in sweating the TM last few weeks cuz I don't think he is doing a great job? Not real sure but guess they will all be there next week as well.

Just passed my stress test yesterday.
2 in one week.
Need cardiology release for DOT physical.
That's scheduled for mid September. And one more test before that. Earliest I could get.
Most LTL or good jobs won't honor a physical older than 6 months.
I start looking a bit more seriously tomorrow.
Might be something other than CDL or if they have logistics personelle type temp agency one day or one week jobs until then if they'll honor Cardiologist release from last September.
Maybe yard dock until then IDK.
Maybe just wait. Idk.

I pray whatever you choose turns out well for you and your physical condition. We have all ribbed each other through the years, but I believe you are a man who loved his company, worked hard, and tried hard to keep it alive (as most did).
