Anybody that was working today. Did you have a lot of returns and it was slow wasn't it? You went to places and it looked like a ghost town. We should be closed when New Year's Eve is on a Monday.

A few days ago, we did a customer survey to find out who was going to be open. I'm sure most Con-way's do this. (It's the most efficient way)
Having a skeleton crew working lets the customers know we are there for them and they can count on us.
We delivered all our appointments, guaranteed, mall stops and made all of our pick-ups. I did 15 deliveries and a whopping 2 pick-ups!
I got my 8 hrs where the Line-haulers sat at home for the night.

I wanted the time off myself, I would of visited my brother on the east coast, but I had to work. No biggie.And that`s a bad thing??? I love the extra time off paid or unpaid, for sanity`s sake!
