I got bad news for you Home Boy. FEDEX's lobbyist pay regular visits to Nancy and Chuck, they know how to grease palms. FEDEX(other non union) drivers are real Americans, they cling to GOD and their guns, vote accordingly.

Son, let me tell you how chuck and Nancy really feel about retired Teamsters. They are absolutely amazed at their arrogance. Truck drivers who make a 100 grand a year, going to capitol hill, pleading poverty. Then threatening law makers. Even though chuck and Nancy don't think much of you as human beings, they are willing to use you to further their socialist agenda. Just don't count on getting 100% of your pension benefits, you are 701 aren't you. Remember FEDEX, greases palms TOO.

When I said money going where it shouldn’t I was talking about airlines and other big companies that have plenty. If it’s truly needed to keep a business going fine but just a little bit of oversight before giving it to any business that asked would have been nice.

I have a dear friend that’s lives in Oakland ,He has land and a whole lotta taxes.I have to tell him suck it up and shut up or ,sell and move, or deal with it.

Back when I was in the union there were major league a** kissers. Got easy loads and little to no work. Plus protection as they did nothing at work. I will give you credit you have it figured out. You are on the right track. Very sharp you are.. Keep banking on the teamsters to protect you. let's see what July brings you and your seniority, I hope for your sake all goes well.
But I much prefer handling things myself..

My guess is you worked in the wrong place. Seniority shall prevail at all times.Thats gospel and contractual.If you were at the bottom,Too Bad!when you excepted the job the conditions came with it.Don’t like it don’t stay here.

Yes, Seniort does prevail. But look at Dallas, senior guys dragging their feet,not doing their job, and the lower tier guys lose their jobs because Senior guys don't think that they should have to work. THAT'S why YRC runs freight around them. Not picking a side in ya'lls little Tiff, just stating a little fact.
Until we start looking out for everyone, and not how it benefits just the one, it will never get better.

If you think they drag their feet in Dallas, stop by 309 if you are ever in the area. Many episodes of the tv series, The Walking Dead was filmed there on the dock.
 
It has nothing to do with how much seniority a person has.

I’ve seen plenty of new hires that are on the job a few months and aren’t worth ::shit::. They think teamster means untouchable. I’ve also seen plenty that work their tales off.

People either believe in a fairs days work or they don’t.

Why is it always senior guys?
We had senior guys run 6 Atl turns or 3 Cape Canaveral's and never miss a trip, while some on the lower end of the totem pole griped if they ran 2000 miles.
You have many junior guys lazy also.
