FedEx Freight | Pay differential

I would do away with b on GPD scale and only have 3 scales. IMO that would fix it. It will never happen though.
I have to applaud the fact you set aside your usually socialist/communist/unionist tendencies to come up with a potential actual solution. Normally you want to destroy the company, instead of build a better life...that's kinda the whole socialist/communist/unionist thing.

I'm not trying to be mean to you but you're dumber than a box of rocks if you think my ideas would destroy the company. Most like you fall for the usual smoke and mirrors.

Oh wait, you forgot to call me a "(⊙▃⊙)". You can still do it!

No a better name would be Cadillac man or retirement man. I remember when you thought our insurance met the threshold for Cadillac status :biglaugh:let us not forget you think our self funded retirement is better than upsf:lmao:

They ever revisit these pay situations? I find it odd and I'll provide an example here. All of the Iowa centers make less than all of the Minnesota centers I believe. Owatonna makes the same as Minneapolis hub yet they are 60 miles apart. Mason city is about 70 miles from owatonna and makes about $1.50 less an hour than owatonna. I know guys in Burlington that make the same 1.50 hr less approx. Heck even the dsm hub which is constantly expanding makes about 1.50 less than the small end of the line owatonna center makes and I've talked to guys where their rent is $1400 a month. If it's all about cost of living then they surely have made a big overlook here.

Nope, they don't give a ...

Nope, they had a big meeting to tell us why the dont have to pay us more. Basically said if you can make more elsewhere, go there.
Just wondering been looking out for road driver position in these two centers. Are they both end of the line centers? Do any drivers have A.M Road bid spots? If someone does get a road driver position they would obviously be last on the list so would they be extra board or would they have a p.m bid spot ? If so where would they most likely be going? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

The one in fishersville is an end of the line center. Roanoke is not, if you went there I'd plan on being on the extra board for a while. I'd guess it would take close to a decade to make it to daylight.

I applaud them for saying it. They usually dance around it and give a horrible lesson in economics.

If I were in that room, I'd leave quietly. Then I'd start missing every gate and/or a pick up or two. It wasn't safe, I couldn't find it, maybe you should do it etc.

We can all play this game. The difference is, I can take my CDL anywhere. See if anybody gives a crap that you were a dispatcher/supervisor at FedEx.

Just wondering what centers would a extra board driver be visiting? Would it be mostly Pm runs or would you be running off the hub? Any good mileage runs or would it mostly be like going to fishersville and working the dock ?
