FedEx Freight | Stock futures fall as Wall Street heads for losing week, weighs FedEx warning

You drive a bull dog slave?
I drove a twin-screw Mack a couple days in the last few weeks due to raid drivers not getting back before my shift.
I liked it. They got rid of it. It was here for work by our mechanics.
It's strong and rides strong.

Probably better for road.

We have mostly Volvo's who own Mack.
A sour deal years ago made it that way is what I heard.

I delivered to their test center today.
I live near the plant and we go there a lot.
And my dad was part of the group in that story. He worked there 30 years or so.

Volvo's are like a Buick or something imo.
International not much different.
Kenworth and Pete's are too fancy imo.

I like my 2015 KW with 800k miles on it. It has character. It took me 2 hours to clean some of that character off, but it still has some.

My point was to help a Yankee as NasVegas said....
Ask for a Mack....for driver appreciation...if they're not giving money.
Instead of cheap oatmeal and lard snacks from Little Debbie.
They're cheapin'out again. LOL.

We've had nice snacks and coffee at our terminal all week.
Every day.
Not bad.
Pizza one day.
I was told pizza tonight also but don't know if that changed.

Nice but I prefer pay over Christmas Turkeys.

Just curious if you had to stare at the dogs rear end all day.

Last layoff was voluntary, possibly but starving an employee out till they quit seems to be the norm. The next shoe to drop is the amount of retirement drivers coming soon. If it was me… I’d be offering buyouts.
I feel a buyout is coming soon rather than layoffs. Fedex didn't want that layoff image last time around and still doesn't hence why they opted for a volunteer system.

If they offered buyouts today I figure about 15 of my 40 man board would take it. We'd have to hire again lol

How much would buy you out?
How much have previous buyouts been?

I got better things to do with my time. Maybe you're jealous and wish you could stare at it's butt all day?

So tell me, oh Swami of the stock market,

What exactly is the problem here at FedEx with their stocks?

Trailers to short?
Not enough 53's?
Not stacked and packed full?
Lack of doubles and triples?
Lack of 102's?
Too many 12'6"x45x96 trailers?
Too much union work rules with no flexibility for management?
Too high contracted union wages?
Too much contractual pension contributions?
Too much union health and welfare payments to make?

Is it the union?
Or the trailers?
What's the problem?

Must've ticked off BlackRock and Vanguard?

They better get out there on that dock and start cracking that whip on backs. Don't you think?
