The company I work for is debt free privately owned and leases your own terminals back to you guys. I’ve received a cost of living every year I’ve worked here. Your company can’t turn a profit and should have been left to close and your trucks sent to Mexico South America or Africa.

Speak for yourself. I exist to serve my loved ones which I’ve done pretty well for, its far from a cancer when I have been able to have two children born all medical FULLY COVERED,
Raise them in a comfortable home. Get them through college, take vacations around the world. Never needed to worry when them or my wife needed medical, they were never without anything they needed And I built a pretty good 401k for my retirement.

I've worked hard for 40 years and paid my taxes throughout, Anyone has a problem with tax dollars being used to give a company that employs AMERICAN CITIZENS like me a LOAN is a sad type of person.

I worked at a factory that closed in 2008 and lost my house not long after because I was young and couldn’t get a good paying job again until I started driving the two trucking companies I worked for after also went out of business. I learned from this did my research and decided to go to the company I am at now and I can tell you it has been great. I understand your point of view I don’t mean disrespect to you as a person, but we can’t reward people for running up debt and miss managing their finances. This is not fair to all of the small companies the government ignored, and it’s going to drive the rates down in LTL now, if I have to take some kind of pay cut for my company to be profitable we can blame the teamsters for that.
 
Heard in the break room from a good source that Yrc is getting flatbeds and start hauling Tanks, going to need larger mirrors on our trucks.

I respect your work ethic and I’m glad you landed on your feet but teamsters who work here didn’t make the decisions that got this company in trouble. If anything they should be credited with keeping this pig afloat and providing for their families. Would you rather 30 thousand families go through what you have in the past? This company might have struggled over the last 12 years but the people that work here have worked through it
And were possibly turning it around before the pandemic. There are much worse companies out there affecting shipping rates then this one. I hope your company stays profitable and cuts are something your never faced with. Be safe.
 
The union leaders need to team up with that Cypress investor to make dramatic changes in management from the top down! The company has breathing room will anything change?

I agree with you. I don't know how omegaman post got into mine. But my response was towards Phillman. Who does not like that YRC received the loan

Things change. Hundreds of companies went out of business with deregulation. And some ::shit:: companies capitalized and still do today.
Too bad the change isn't big enough to re-regulate. So drivers can make out instead of a few at the top of most companies, and the Banks of course.

We did have a sellout President/CEO come to your company as well as salesmen and other management. So some of our stuff came to you. But none of our Teamsters came to you from our area. Only one retiree cause it was closer to his home.
