Sudden Flu effects your pay. Working to the letter of your CBA, or, to the rules in the company handbook results in no loss of 'Flu Pay' but loss of production & revenue for the company. If you are going to or need to put pressure on the company, don't cut off your nose to spite your face. von.Should but it’ll never happen
Agree. It would not hurt this company one bit. They sit on freight for a week or longer now and could care less. Delivering Customers freight is only a priority when it’s cost effective or they pay for a guarantee. Pick ups is where any LTL carrier makes the dough. It would only hurt if the bulk terminals did for an extended time and that ain’t going to happen.Sudden Flu effects your pay. Exactly correct. There were times I’d see the same piece of freight on the dock, or in OS&D, for weeks before delivery was even attempted. Then they would still charge customers full rate for the company being inept. Seemed really shady and unethical. It’s that type of thing that will destroy any positive reputation that you have worked hard to achieve. But hey...as long as Starbucks is happy, it’s all goodAgree. Yessireee, start quoting procedures and rules to me, that's a two way street. I WILL procedure you to death. Monitor everything I do, I'll run my route EXACTLY the way it's loaded/routed (mind you we do not load our own city peddles at R&L and load sequence and route sequence don't always jive) and do pickups the way you give them to me. Two can play that game and most companies today are loathe to fire a CDL holder with a good record. We can barely get applicants in the door.Sudden Flu effects your pay. I can't log into the lytx site. I tried multiple ways to enter log in and password. No luck. Any advice?I recently drove a 2018 freightliner while my newer truck is in the shop and that camera went off at least 2-3 times a night but when I log onto the lytx site it says I no events assigned to me.

No offense to this post, but I’m not going to take trucking advice from Karla or any other safety person until I know his/her credentials. If they have logged a million miles, I will listen. If they are just a pencil pusher and a number cruncher, I have no time for their opinions, particularly on driving. This would be a Karla special, not only would you get coached on videos your safety person could talk you through dangerous situations you encounter daily.

Unbelievable. I’m trying to figure out from reading the article, what exactly the infrared does on the driver for distraction besides seeing in the dark. This would be a Karla special, not only would you get coached on videos your safety person could talk you through dangerous situations you encounter daily.

So freight lines is only in bidness to pick up freight and not deliver it? Where they storin it all then?Agree. It would not hurt this company one bit. Common misconception. LTL gets paid from the shipper not the consignee no matter who pays the bill. Yes the delivery is included in the total cost but they get paid when picked up and “expected” to deliver. Often that freight is held hostage till we see fit to get it to you because it’s already paid.unless a guarante is purchased then it’s a priority because the up charge will be free if not delivered in that time and no company likes doing work for free.So freight lines is only in bidness to pick up freight and not deliver it? Never did understand people sayin that. Transportin involves a pickup AND a delivery. Gotta do both before ya gits paid for it. Ya sure as hell aint payin a contractor til he dun hammered the last nail

Only if it’s your account and not 3rd party which a lot of isActually incorrect. Most LTL customers work on a credit basis that is billed and paid monthly.
