I was one of the "lucky" employees.
I just happened to qualify for the 62 years of age w 100% pension payout. Almost 3k.
I thought about hanging out for 100% SS payment but couldn't go wrong w $2k monthly payment.

Avoid those circumstances/situations you cannot possibly control and focus on those you can.
