Yellow | The Pirates lost

Well almost everything is traced to money if you arm the ships then the whole ship will have to be searched at every port thus slowing the freight down thus taking longer to get paid the freight charges. And the shipping companys do not want to wait any longer than need be to get paid.

Excellent research! It's also against most nations laws (Where these ships dock/load) for private ships to be armed. Welcome to the United Nations....

But...they stuck their heads out of the portholes for those mean old Navy SEALS to have nice clean shots at....what's a sniper to do? Seriously, why can't those ships arm themselves? Or hire armed security? And maybe it's time other countries take care of their own people, & our military will take care of our people.:USA:

Latest word is that someone in the BHO Admin wants to attack the pirate strongholds on land; use the US Military to train the Somolis Security force. Same as Iraq. I thought BHO opposed this kind of strategy????? That it was "Nation building?"

Now; where will the 16 year old pirate be held? Gitmo? Was he read his Miranda Rights? Will he be brought to court in the USA? In Jefferson's time vs the Barbary Pirates, we'd have hung him when we caught him. Now, he's probably just a misguided youth.....

I figured the Maersk Corp probably were already hiring/training private protection trailing behind in range-- using drone aircraft to see approaching pirates.....Think we'll see that soon; too much money at stake. Maybe even buy satelitte time to watch the area....
